Jaishankar conveying greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi to Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during a meeting in Manila. Marcos expressed gratitude for India's swift and decisive action and looked forward to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. Jaishankar also met with Philippines Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo, discussing various issues of security and maritime cooperation during their "warm and productive" meeting.
