Gina Carano claims she would have defeated Ronda Rousey in an MMA fight based on her powerful strikes.
Gina Carano, a pioneer for women in MMA, claims she would have knocked out Ronda Rousey had they fought. Carano was offered by UFC CEO Dana White to join the company before Rousey's debut in 2013 but chose to stay with Strikeforce. Carano, who retired in 2009 after losing to Cris Cyborg, states that she was one of the hardest-punching women in MMA and believes she would have defeated Rousey due to her powerful strikes.
