Delhi Health Minister accuses BJP of relaunching "Operation Lotus" to create defections within AAP.
Delhi Health Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has accused the BJP of relaunching its "Operation Lotus" to create defections within the AAP by offering money, Y-category security, and Lok Sabha poll tickets to the party's legislators. This comes after AAP's lone Lok Sabha MP from Punjab, Sushil Kumar Rinku, and party's Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal Angural switched sides to join the BJP. Bharadwaj also claims that probe agencies are being used by the BJP to achieve their objectives, and that a majority of AAP MLAs in Punjab have been offered incentives by the BJP. Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor dismissed these claims, stating they are a concocted story of the AAP.
