Canada and PEI invest $29M over 5 years to improve senior health care access and aging at home.

Canada and Prince Edward Island (PEI) have announced a $29 million investment over the next five years to improve health care for seniors in P.E.I. The funds will be used to enhance access to home, community, and long-term care, as well as investing in measures such as home-based wound care and mobile X-ray units. The deal aims to help seniors age at home for as long as possible before entering long-term care facilities.
