The Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly signed veteran left-handed pitcher Jordan Montgomery to a one-year, $25 million deal, with a vesting option for a second season at $25 million. Montgomery, 31, split the 2023 season with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers, finishing with a 10-11 record and a 3.20 ERA during the regular season. He helped the Rangers reach the World Series, where he posted a 3-1 record and a 2.90 ERA in the playoffs.
