2023: Allwyn's UK National Lottery sales drop 4% to £3.3bn, driven by fewer big EuroMillions jackpots and limited product/channel developments.

National Lottery operator Allwyn reports a 4% drop in UK sales to £3.3bn and a 5% decline in underlying earnings to £155.5m in 2023. The company attributes the decline to "unusually unfavourable EuroMillions jackpot cycles", with only 14 draws featuring jackpots above €100m, compared with 33 in 2022. Limited product and channel developments during the previous licence period also impacted UK performance.
