Alberta NDP leadership candidate Rakhi Pancholi quits race, backs Naheed Nenshi. Pancholi, an Edmonton MLA, withdraws from the NDP leadership race to support fellow candidate Naheed Nenshi, citing his ability to expand the party. Pancholi claims Nenshi has more than doubled the party's membership since entering the contest two weeks ago.
