46-year-old Winchester man, Jeremy James Acree, was arrested after a high-speed chase involving a stolen Chevy Silverado in Eugene's Lowes parking lot on March 22. Police attempted a forcible stop, but Acree continued driving dangerously, putting the public at risk. The chase ended when Acree crashed at a nearby Carl's Jr. drive-thru. Acree faces charges including Unauthorized Use Vehicle, Reckless Endangering, Hit and Run, Elude Vehicle, and numerous charges from other agencies.
