23-year-old Kelowna man, Maxwell Brayer, won Canada's Top Young Sommelier award at the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs National Competition in Calgary. The victory qualifies him to compete in the international Top Young Sommelier competition in Lisbon, Portugal, in October. Brayer's all-expenses paid trip includes tours of Portuguese wineries to enhance his education and skills in oenology.
