A man in his 30s was stuck in a stormwater drain for 36 hours after trying to retrieve his phone. Emergency services were called to a drain in Brisbane on March 25, where QFES crews lifted the drain to free the man. He was taken to Mater Hospital in stable condition for abrasions and exposure to the cold. The man told crews he had been stuck for 36 hours while attempting to retrieve his phone.
