44-year-old Kerry businessman Nathan McDonnell, accused of involvement in Ireland's largest crystal meth haul, denied bail in High Court.
A Kerry businessman accused of involvement in Ireland's biggest-ever crystal meth haul has been denied bail in the High Court. Nathan McDonnell, 44, previously ran Ballyseedy Garden Centre and faces charges of possessing drugs worth over €13,000 for sale or supply. McDonnell's father offered €100,000 as a surety for bail, but the judge rejected the application due to concerns around the "sophisticated operation" behind the €32.8m drug seizure.
