39-year-old inmate John Lewis Wardrup died at El Dorado Correctional Facility; cause of death pending autopsy results. Wardrup had been serving an 18-month sentence for violating conditions of supervision and Kansas Offender Registration Act. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death, along with the Kansas Department of Corrections.
