WhatsApp tests new status update interface with AI-based image editing and longer video sharing on Android beta.
WhatsApp is testing a new interface for sharing text-based status updates, making it easier for users to switch between text and media content in future updates. The latest Android beta (v2.24.7.16) includes a redesigned preview/editor page, and the app is also working on integrating AI-based image editing. Recent updates have allowed users to share one-minute videos in status updates, up from the previous 30-second limit.
