Uganda's Lato Milk Processor acquires full stake in Kenyan dairy firm Highland Creamers, following approval from the COMESA Competition Commission. The deal allows Maziwa, a Mauritius-incorporated holding company, to gain increased access to Kenya's market. The transaction was deemed not to substantially hinder competition in the region, according to the CID chairperson Mahmoud Momtaz.
