2 San Jose teachers arrested for alleged sexual crimes against minors: A 56-year-old teacher, Shawn Thomas, was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a student over 20 years ago at Leigh High School. Separately, a 28-year-old teacher, Giovanny LaTorre, was arrested for annoying or molesting a minor at ACE Empower Academy. Both incidents are being investigated by the San Jose Police Department.
