Rite Aid reaches settlement with lenders, US DoJ, and McKesson Corp, allowing it to complete bankruptcy case by late April.
Rite Aid, the pharmacy chain, has reached a settlement with its lenders, the US Department of Justice, and drug supplier McKesson Corp. The agreement paves the way for Rite Aid to complete its bankruptcy case by late April, as stated by company lawyer, Aparna Yenamandra, at a bankruptcy court hearing in Trenton, New Jersey. The deal, however, does not have the support of creditors who have sued Rite Aid over its sale of opioid medications yet.
