Researchers are calling for the establishment of a research funding agency in Nigeria to support and enhance research work. The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has already spent over N23 billion on funding 912 research projects across the country. The African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) led by Prof. Nicholas Ozor emphasizes the need for a national research and innovation funding agency to attract foreign grants for research.
