Researchers create eco-friendly, self-cleaning paint with titanium oxide nanoparticles that removes pollutants from indoor air when exposed to sunlight.

Researchers from TU Wien and Università Politecnica delle Marche have developed self-cleaning wall paint using titanium oxide nanoparticles that can remove pollutants from indoor air when exposed to sunlight. The paint is made from waste materials and is photocatalytically active, breaking down pollutants without discoloration. This eco-friendly paint improves air quality and prolongs paint durability.
