Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) participated in the inauguration of Katara Village, a model village for displaced families in Qabasin, northern Syria. Funded by Education Above All Foundation, the village features 30 housing units with utilities, a school, and a mosque. Designer Zaha Hadid Architects provided unique alternative shelter solutions for internally displaced people worldwide.
