New Mexico State University Provost Alan Shoho retires, Lakshmi Reddi appointed interim provost.

New Mexico State University Provost, Alan Shoho, announced his retirement, with his last day being March 22. Interim President Jay Gogue appointed Lakshmi Reddi, Dean of NMSU's College of Engineering, as the interim provost and chief academic officer, effective immediately. Reddi will oversee deans and academic operations until a new, permanent president is in place for the NMSU system.
