Microsoft appoints Pavan Davuluri as the new chief of Windows and Surface divisions.

Microsoft has named Pavan Davuluri as the new chief of both Windows and Surface divisions, following the departure of Panos Panay to Amazon last year. Davuluri had previously been responsible for Surface silicon and devices, while Mikhail Parakhin led a team focused on Windows and web experiences. However, with Parakhin exploring new roles, Davuluri will now oversee both Windows and Surface operations.
