1 in 5 Irish secondary school teachers face cyberbullying, primarily from students (63%).

1 in 5 Irish secondary school teachers have experienced cyberbullying, with students being the primary culprits (63%), followed by parents (20%), colleagues (6%) and school management (4%). ASTI's survey of 1,920 members revealed that teachers often face vulgar messages or personal information being posted online, and also highlighted concerns over AI use in education, including data harvesting and increased workload.
