The Brynderwyn Hills motorway section in New Zealand will reopen from 28 March to 2 April for Easter weekend, allowing essential travel and supporting Northland's businesses. The closure for repairs was initially scheduled until May, but temporary opening has been arranged to boost the region's economy. Minister of Transport Simeon Brown praised the progress made by project teams in fixing storm-caused slips.
