A former U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, Andre Maurice Chevalier, was sentenced to four months in prison for unreasonable force at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. He pleaded guilty to pulling a woman out of her vehicle and shoving her into a booth, causing significant facial injuries. Chevalier resigned from CBP and agreed not to seek employment with any federal law enforcement agency.
