Constellium's Ravenswood aluminium plant in West Virginia has been selected to receive a $75 million investment from the U.S. Department of Energy to implement low-to-zero carbon technologies. The project includes the installation of SmartMelt furnaces that can operate on clean hydrogen, reducing carbon emissions and increasing recycled scrap intake. The investment will also support the construction of a training and wellness center, onsite childcare, and resources for local schools and universities.
