Chattanooga receives $25M in federal funds to aid Southside Connector, widening Cummings Highway, & other projects. U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann played a role in securing the funding, which also includes $6.4M for the Alton Park connector trail, $5M for widening Cummings Highway, and $3.5M for Broad Street redesign. These projects aim to improve infrastructure, police force, and the local economy.
