Canadian National Railway Co. (CN) has released a new Indigenous relations policy aimed at enhancing its commitment to reconciliation and Indigenous engagement. The policy includes principles on cultural awareness and employee engagement, people and employment, community engagement and relationships, economic reconciliation and environmental stewardship and safety. This move follows the railway's acknowledgement of its past role in colonial policies and its advisory council of Indigenous leaders resigning at the end of last year.
