2 Boko Haram commanders from the Bakoura Buduma faction surrendered to the MNJTF in Nigeria's Sector 3 due to intensified military operations.
Two Boko Haram commanders, Ibrahim Muhammed and Auwal Muhammed (Wanka), from the Bakoura Buduma faction, surrendered to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Nigeria's Sector 3. The commanders, active for 15 years in the Lake Chad Islands, surrendered due to intensified military operations. Weapons and mobile phones were recovered from the surrendered terrorists, who are now in custody for further investigation.
