Australia's first dedicated recreation resort park for motoring enthusiasts, Black Rock Motor Resort, will replace Rhondda Colliery in the NSW Hunter region.

Rhondda Colliery, a former coal mine in the NSW Hunter region, will be transformed into Australia's first dedicated recreation resort park for motoring enthusiasts. The Black Rock Motor Resort will feature a world-class high-speed circuit, driver training academy, go-kart track, and motoring resort facilities, creating over 450 jobs during construction and 229 permanent roles. The project aligns with the NSW government's commitment to exploring new opportunities for post-mine land use, promoting new industries and encouraging economic diversification.
