24-year-olds Joshua Dunbar and Jaqualyne Etienne from Louisiana were sentenced to two years in prison each for aggravated identity theft. They stole nearly $250,000 using victims' PII from Synchrony Bank accounts, requesting new credit cards linked to the accounts and making fraudulent purchases. The case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and tried in federal court in Lafayette.
