Four teens, aged 14 and 16, were charged after leading police on a car chase across Lake Macquarie and Newcastle. The police attempted to stop the stolen Hyundai Sonata sedan, but it failed to do so, leading to a brief chase. The vehicle was eventually stopped using road spikes in Wallsend, before the teens were arrested in Hamilton. All four were refused bail and will appear in a children's court.
