18-year-old Mikel Moore was arrested after allegedly firing a gunshot at a police officer during a chase in Baton Rouge. The shot missed the officer and entered a nearby home, striking a resident inside in the lower body. Moore faces eight counts of attempted first-degree murder and resisting an officer. Another suspect, 29-year-old Eric Brown, was issued a misdemeanor summons for resisting an officer and was later released.
