Troopers with the Indiana State Police Versailles Post arrested a 33-year-old Greenwood man, Christopher Spall, on Sunday for felony drug and weapons charges. The arrest occurred when troopers checked Spall's well-being after his vehicle stalled on the side of U.S. 50 near North Vernon. Spall faces charges of Level 3 felony possession of methamphetamine with a firearm, Level 5 felony possession of a firearm by a felon with a prior conviction, Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and Class C misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
