32% of UK pubs have reduced their hours due to the cost of living crisis and rising energy bills, with some closing as early as 8pm. A poll of British Beer and Pub Association members found that many pubs are also cutting food service in an effort to save on staff and energy costs. The Government is being urged to support pubs to alleviate these pressures and ensure they remain a central part of communities.
