Swiss rail manufacturer Stadler's hydrogen train, the FLIRT H2, has set a new Guinness World Record, covering 2,803 kilometres without refuelling or recharging. The train completed the journey in around 46 hours at a test centre in Colorado, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable rail transport and technological innovation. This achievement follows another record set by Stadler in December 2021, when its battery-powered Flirt train covered the longest journey in battery mode on a single charge in Germany.
