Revenue officers seized €597,300 worth of illicit tobacco during an intelligence-led operation at Dublin Port. The contraband included 1,050kg of chewing tobacco and 24kg of other tobacco products. This follows a previous seizure of €25,000 worth of illicit cigarettes on Wednesday, as part of ongoing operations targeting the shadow economy and the supply and sale of illegal tobacco products.
