Nigeria's FEC approves N1.267 trillion for 28 roads and bridges, and establishes an Economic Management Task Force.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) in Nigeria, led by President Bola Tinubu, has approved N1.267 trillion ($2.9 billion) for the construction of 28 roads and bridges across the country. Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, revealed the approval during a briefing at the end of the FEC meeting. The FEC also approved the establishment of an Economic Management Task Force to implement measures aimed at growing the economy and reducing poverty.
