The Philadelphia Phillies have traded outfielder Jake Cave to the Colorado Rockies for cash considerations. Cave, who joined the Phillies in 2023, hit .212 with a .272 on-base percentage and a .348 slugging percentage in 65 games for Philadelphia last year. The 31-year-old was drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB draft by the New York Yankees and spent parts of six seasons with the Minnesota Twins.
