Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, expressed concern over the influx of fake imported goods, particularly pharmaceuticals, into Nigeria. He urged relevant agencies to address the fake drugs issue and support local pharmaceutical industries to enhance Nigerian's confidence in them. The monarch stated that Nigerians would patronize made-in-Nigeria products if they were competitive in quality and pricing.
