New Mexico State University (NMSU) students were alerted about an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at a fraternity house near campus on March 22. NMSU police received a report at 12:16 a.m. on March 23, stating that a student was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at the fraternity house. Authorities are interviewing persons of interest and there does not appear to be an ongoing threat.
