Nissan plans to increase its electric vehicle (EV) lineup, develop more powerful batteries, and reduce production costs as part of "The Arc" business strategy by 2030. Nissan aims to have electric vehicles account for 60% of global offerings by the end of the decade. The company, which introduced the Leaf EV in 2010, intends to launch 34 new EV models from fiscal 2024 to fiscal 2030, with EVs accounting for 40% of its global portfolio by fiscal 2026. Nissan also plans to expand its partnerships with companies like Mitsubishi Motors Corp., Dongfeng Nissan, and Renault to achieve these goals.
