Nigeria's Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has appointed 168 assistants and 104 board members for the 15 agencies and commissions of the state. The appointees consist of nine senior technical assistants, 81 senior special assistants, 78 special assistants, and 104 chairmen and board members. The appointment is based on the governor's powers under Section 208(2)d of the Nigerian constitution.
