78 Nagaland villages and Cambodia report significant TB decline on World Tuberculosis Day.

78 villages in Nagaland, India have been declared tuberculosis-free, as announced on World Tuberculosis Day. Cambodia has also seen a significant drop in TB deaths and new cases in over two decades, with a 45% decline in mortality rate and 45% decrease in new TB cases. Prime Minister Hun Manet attributed this success to free TB treatment and a high cure rate of over 90%.
