Mysterious "ghost shark" species Chimaera supapae discovered off Thailand's Andaman coast.

A mysterious sea creature, dubbed the "ghost shark," has been discovered off the coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. The never-before-seen species, Chimaera supapae, boasts a massive head, huge iridescent eyes, and feathery fins, and is a cartilaginous fish in the Chimaeriformes order, which includes the oldest living fishes. The ancient fish are distant relatives of sharks and rays.
