Louisiana Sheriff Candidate Wins Do-Over After Disputed 1-Vote Victory Was Tossed.

In Louisiana's Caddo Parish, Democratic candidate Henry Whitehorn was decisively elected as sheriff after his disputed one-vote victory in a previous election was dismissed. Whitehorn won 53% of the vote in the second attempt, making him the parish's first Black sheriff. The previous election results were invalidated due to evidence of two people voting twice and four others voting despite being ineligible.
