Kenyan police officer Austin Ouma drowned at a hotel pool during a trip with colleagues.

A Kenyan police officer, Austin Ouma, drowned at a hotel swimming pool in Alego/Usonga sub-county while on a refreshment and entertainment trip with colleagues. The incident was reported to the Siaya police station, and the pool attendant attempted to rescue the officer, but he failed to resurface. Ouma's two friends, Peter Mucheru and Samwel Kirogo, were also present at the resort.
