ITV has cancelled the show "The Masked Dancer" after two series, as it struggled to compete with BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing". The Masked Dancer, which premiered in May 2021, saw celebrities perform in elaborate costumes while a panel of judges tried to guess their identities. ITV intends to continue with "The Masked Singer", which has been well received, despite the cancellation of its spin-off show.
