6 fishermen from Hout Bay and Hawston are missing at sea after their boat, "Berta Fishing Experience," went missing. A search operation led by the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) and supported by the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA), and police services is underway in the deep waters south and southwest of Cape Point. Families, friends, and the maritime community are on edge as the search continues.
