Fugro Pioneer, a geophysical vessel, has successfully converted its main components to run on methanol engines, reducing carbon emissions by over 90% compared to diesel. This is part of its goal to achieve net-zero operations by 2035 and supports the growth of the green methanol market. The conversion took place in the Netherlands through the MENENS consortium and received financial support from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
