A former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer testified in court that she was instructed to open a complaint against Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan, former Information Chief of Bersatu, alleging a RM6.9m bribe for helping Nepturis Sdn Bhd secure a RM232m highway interchange project. Wan Saiful faces corruption and money laundering charges, with the trial ongoing.
